Developing innovative solutions to real problems facing Brazilian industry - this is the aim of the SENAI Innovation Saga, a series of competitions designed to stimulate the creativity and entrepreneurial vision of SENAI students.

How can your industry participate?

Industries can register their demands for free at SENAI Innovation Saga Platform. These challenges will be analyzed and may have solutions presented by SENAI students from all over the country.

As well as helping to train more creative and skilled professionals to develop solutions, your industry will be able to obtain, free of charge, an innovative solution that can increase productivity and profitability, reduce costs and reuse materials.

The SENAI Innovation Saga is an initiative that aims to bring SENAI students closer to the reality of industry and stimulate critical thinking and a culture of innovation within SENAI's technical schools. Establishing an itinerary for students to follow, the SENAI Innovation Saga is made up of different actions that go beyond the confines of the classroom:

SENAI Innovation Grand Prix
At this stage, the students are divided into multidisciplinary teams, called squads. Under the guidance of a teacher, the students take part in a real innovation marathon and, in a short space of time, prototype innovative solutions to real industry challenges. The GP takes place in school, regional and national phases.

SENAI Challenge for Integrative Projects (DSPI)
Lasting six months, multidisciplinary teams choose a real industry challenge and develop their solution in the classroom. Participants need to design projects and prototypes, draw up a Canvas Business Model and create a presentation in pitch format. DSPI takes place in regional and national stages and aims to encourage the use of the SENAI Professional Education Methodology and entrepreneurship.

Inova SENAI
The final stage of the SENAI Saga challenges students to turn their ideas for innovative products and processes into reality. Here, the projects must be viable enough to be applied in practice. The projects are evaluated in Business Rounds with entrepreneurs and a panel of judges chooses the three that stand out the most.
